Allspars relocates to Falmouth’s new Marine Hub
Allspars, a provider of masts and rigging services, is relocating its Falmouth branch to Falmouth Harbour’s new Marine Hub.
Falmouth Harbour’s Marine Hub aims to create a convenient and accessible hub of related marine services for the Falmouth boating community, as well as visitors throughout the year. This marine-centric initiative, located on the Harbour’s Grove Park waterfront site, offers various services alongside traditional boat storage.
Allspars says its decision to relocate to the new Marine Hub was driven by the opportunities it offers. With direct quayside access, Allspars will now be able to enhance and expand its range of services on-site, providing a more comprehensive and convenient experience for their customers.
“The opportunity to relocate our Falmouth operations to the new Marine Hub in Falmouth Harbour was too good to turn down,” says Matt Pullen, the branch manager. “The quayside access will be a huge asset to the business and the services we can offer onsite. This move is a mark of our commitment to providing Falmouth and the wider sailing community with top-notch masts and rigging services. It’s a pleasure to be working alongside a great team at the Harbour, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship.”
The Marine Hub, situated at Falmouth Harbour, has long been a centre for marine activities, with a rich history of building, servicing, and teaching all things maritime.
“For centuries, our harbour has been a centre for building, servicing, and teaching just about everything ‘marine’,” says the head of commercial operations at Falmouth Harbour, Holly Manvell. “To help provide facilities, skills, and opportunities to continue this legacy is both a privilege and a responsibility for our team. Allspars are renowned for their quality and team spirit, and we are delighted to welcome them as our Marine Hub’s inaugural tenants.
“Accessibility to key services like rigging and boat repairs is a major component for getting out and enjoying the water in the season ahead – and as a Harbour Authority, it’s a major component of safety in our waters. Our Marine Hub of ‘pods’ will become a colony of expertise for our boating community to easily tap into.”
