Aquaspirit UK will debut the Spirit 700, a 7m RIB, at this year’s Southampton Boat Show (19-28 September 2025).

The boat contains no plastics or fibreglass, and Aquaspirit Marine offers a free retrieval and recycling service at the end of the vessel’s lifecycle.

The model features a fully aluminium hull and D-shaped tubes measuring 30cm in width, compared to the standard 60cm O-tubes used in most RIBs. The boatbuilder says this design increases internal space, providing a width of over two metres, which is comparable to some 9m or 10m RIBs.

The vessel is powered by a Suzuki DF250APX engine. Its aluminium construction allows for operation with a smaller engine than comparable fibreglass RIBs, while the lightweight design contributes to fuel efficiency.

The Spirit 700 accommodates up to 11 passengers and includes storage space for use during family outings, watersports, and leisure cruising.

Rob Cross, director of Aquaspirit UK, says: “We’ve pushed the boundaries of design and performance to build a boat that is a complete game-changer for all RIB enthusiasts. We can’t wait for visitors at the Southampton Boat Show to experience it in action.”

The model will also be exhibited at the Trailer Boat & Watercraft Show in Basingstoke, the Exeter County Show, and the Plymouth Boat Show. The Spirit 700 is available for order with a range of customisation options.
