Aquila appoints new chief revenue officer
Chinese boatbuilder Aquila Power Catamarans has appointed Nick Harvey as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Harvey will support the company’s continued expansion within the power catamaran sector.
Harvey joins Aquila with 21 years of experience in the marine industry. He previously worked at Groupe Beneteau, where he played a role in developing various brands across Europe and the United States. Aquila says his background in expanding dealer networks and managing international operations is expected to contribute to the firm’s ongoing global growth, which includes the launch of new models planned for 2024 and beyond.
“I’m honoured to join the Aquila team,” says Harvey. “The creation of this role reflects the growth strategy that the company’s board has outlined, and I am pleased to contribute to that strategy.”
Aquila Power Catamarans, established in 2012 by Sino Eagle Holding Group, has become a recognised name in the power catamaran market. Harvey’s appointment is seen as a strategic step as the company aims for further growth and expansion.
Frank Xiong, executive director of Sino Eagle Holding Group, adds: “This appointment is an important step for Aquila Power Catamarans as we pursue our growth objectives. Nick will play a key role in driving revenue and executing our sales strategies.
“Under the leadership of Lex Raas and MarineMax, Aquila has emerged as a prominent name in power catamaran manufacturing in less than 12 years. Nick’s international experience and focus on customer satisfaction align with our goals and will strengthen our executive team as we continue to develop the brand.”
