Aquila Power Catamarans has announced a new partnership with Hackshaw Boat Brokerage and Marine Services of St Lucia. The agreement establishes Hackshaw as an official dealer for Aquila’s line of power catamarans.

Hackshaw Boat Brokerage, a fixture in the Caribbean marine industry since 1953, says it has ‘built a legacy of resilience and innovation’. The firm, founded by William Hackshaw, began repurposing World War II landing craft and has now evolved into a full-service marine provider offering refurbishment, management, charter services and commercial operations.

Raul Bermudez, Aquila sales director, comments: “We are excited to welcome Hackshaw Boat Brokerage into the Aquila family. Their rich history and dedication to customer service align perfectly with our values. We believe this partnership will enhance the boating experience for customers in St. Lucia and beyond.”

The brokerage firm first came across Aquila at a previous Florida boat show and was impressed by the quality and range. Hackshaw Boat Brokerage and Marine Services manager Chris Hackshaw notes: “Becoming part of the Aquila dealer network is both a privilege and an exciting opportunity for us. We are ecstatic to place our first order for the Aquila 36 and are eager to deliver this exceptional vessel to our client later this year. Working with Raul and his team has been a fantastic experience, and we look forward to a bright future together.”

Recent years have seen Aquila continue to expand globally, most recently with a new dealer in Hong Kong and Singapore. Alongside the Dominican Republic, this strategic move enables Aquila Power Catamarans to further expand its Caribbean presence.
