August Race and Ribcraft Middle East confirm partnership
Marine maintenance brand August Race has announced that its products will soon be widely available to both retail and trade customers in the United Arab Emirates supplied by Ribcraft Middle East (ME).
Having used August Race products to maintain its own vessels for a number of years, Ribcraft ME will now be offering the well-known range of boat valeting products to chandleries, boat yards and yacht brokers as well as retail customers.
Ribcraft ME general manager Kevin Chinnasami says: “We are thrilled to be partnering with August Race to bring their top-quality boat valeting products to our customers in the UAE. This collaboration reflects our commitment to providing the best solutions for maintaining and caring for boats in the region.”
This development comes during a period of extensive strategic expansion for the Ribcraft group, which has seen the company open premises in Australia in 2023 alongside a production facility in India in May 2024 to complement its established bases in the UK, UAE and the USA.
August Race’s technical manager, Peter Wallbank, says: “It’s a real badge of honour to have our products represented by such a long standing and well respected industry name. The team at Ribcraft ME are great and we look forward to see things progress.”
A recent development in Ribcraft’s portfolio is the unveiling of a leisure range, designed to complement its established professional and military divisions. August Race continues to focus on worldwide expansion with more strategic partnerships to be announced later this year.
