Crick Boat Show insures itself for success with new title sponsor
Haven Knox-Johnston has secured a three-year title sponsorship deal with the Crick Boat Show, a significant boost for the event taking place 23-26 May 2025. While this partnership is great news for the show, the official name, “Crick Boat Show sponsored by Haven Knox-Johnston”, might become a bit of a mouthful for those referring to it.
The two have worked together for several years, with Haven Knox-Johnston most recently supporting the Trade & Preview Day. Now, the expanded partnership is expected to benefit the inland boating community through increased investment and extra resources.
Peter Johns, Crick Boat Show director, says it feels like a natural progression. “Their creative input will help us continue to develop the show with new ideas as we head into the 25th Crick Boat Show in 2025.”
Haven Knox-Johnston says the sponsorship agreement demonstrates its commitment to giving back to the inland boating community, playing an active role in maintaining the unique culture and experience of life on the cut.
“Crick Boat Show is always a highlight of our year, and when the opportunity arose to further increase our support of the show for 2025, we jumped at the chance,” says Paul Knox-Johnston, marketing manager for the insurance company. “It aligns perfectly with our focus on being actively involved in boating communities via our new HavenKJ Life Collective.”
Crick Boat Show was launched in 2000 by British Waterways (now Canal & River Trust) and has become very popular.
