D-Marin and Omniyat join forces in Dubai
Marina company D-Marin will continue operations and management of the 157-berth Business Bay Marina in Dubai.
The marina was acquired by privately held real estate development group Omniyat in September 2023. Omniyat has chosen D-Marin to continue management and operations within the marina.
Based in the Gulf, Omniyat specialises in creating luxury living spaces. Omniyat says it aims to create a distinctive, high-concept lifestyle destination with its latest acquisition.
Berthholders in Dubai will soon be able to use the D-Marin – Premium Marinas app, which allows customers to book berths in real-time, make payments and complete check-in procedures remotely, as well as ‘smart pedestals’ to fully digitalise the customer journey regarding energy consumption, digital payment, remote metering and control.
In the heart of the city near Downtown Dubai, Business Bay Marina connects the Creek with the Jumeirah coastline, a short cruise away from the open sea. The Dorchester Collection recently opened The Lana, a 225-room luxury hotel overlooking the marina.
“We are delighted to establish this partnership with Omniyat and continue operations at this truly unique venue,” says Selcuk Balci, managing director at D-Marin Dubai. “We believe Omniyat will ensure the marina is front and centre of one of Dubai’s most exclusive locations. Visitors can enjoy the first-class customer service and unrivalled facilities we have worked hard to accomplish, including additional digital innovation such as the D-Marin Premium features app, which will further enrich the yachting experience at all our marinas, including Business Bay Marina, within the next 12 months.”
