Fairline’s Targa 40 making UK debut at South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show
Fairline has confirmed its new Targa 40 will make its official UK debut at the South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show in April, following the model’s world debut at boot Düsseldorf 2024 this month.
The South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show will take place at MDL’s flagship Ocean Village Marina in Southampton between 19-21 April 2024.
Sponsored by Raymarine, this year’s show is already shaping up to be another standout event, hosting an impressive line-up of global power, sail and electric brands and new innovative eco-friendly products.

The Targa 40 — the latest addition to Fairline’s Targa series — is presented by exclusive UK dealer Approved Boats.
With a team of expert designers at the helm, the sporty cruiser showcases a bold exterior with a hard top featuring an electric canvas sunroof that opens up the whole cockpit to create a social space designed for hosting families and friends.
In addition to the open cockpit area, the new Targa 40 boasts impressive usable space inside and out and large sunbeds. Speedy and precise handling is also a breeze with a beautifully proportioned and ergonomically designed helm that focuses on technology with the latest Garmin multi-function display.
“We’re really excited to have such an iconic boat in the Fairline range on display in our beautiful home port at Ocean Village,” says Brett Sawyer of Approved Boats. “After a successful world debut, we’re looking forward to showcasing what this fantastic boat has to offer to a UK crowd this Spring.”
Fairline is just one of the global boating brands and marine businesses that will be presenting their products at the South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show. Other brands include Beneteau, Dufour, Hanse, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Princess, Sunseeker, Saxdor, Optima and RS Electric.

With three months to go, organisers have recalled that unprecedented exhibitor interest in the show has left just seven landside exhibitor spaces remaining. The show’s on-water exhibition area at MDL’s flagship marina is now full, with a waiting list in operation.
Alongside the world’s leading power and sail brands, the show is also the perfect place to discover a range of sustainable boats and innovative eco-friendly solutions, helping boat owners and prospective boat owners understand the greener options available to them.
Appointments to view the Targa 40 or any of the other boats on display can be made on the MDL website.
Tickets to the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show are free and can be booked online.
