Frigomar awarded for sales service by French shipyard
Italian HVAC specialist Frigomar has been awarded the prize for best sales service by French shipyard Fountaine Pajot, during the Fountaine Pajot—Dufour Group’s supplier symposium 2024.
The annual event was held in April 2024 in La Rochelle, southwestern France. Alberto Pruzzo (sales engineer) and Gabriele Piaggio (operation manager), representing Frigomar, collected Frigomar’s accolade during a prizegiving ceremony.
In a statement, Frigomar says the award results from the ‘significant work, dedication and professionalism of the Frigomar team, which is constantly engaged to meet customers’ expectations with the aim of anticipating them.’ The firm adds that the achievement also offers ‘recognition of its production and organisational skills, in particular its ability to meet the delivery dates required in purchase orders.’
Fountaine Pajot is one of the world’s leading players in catamaran construction.

A family company, Frigomar was founded in 1973 in Leivi, Italy. The firm has five decades of experience manufacturing marine air-conditioning systems, refrigeration systems and ice-makers for boats. Its variable speed technology has been achieved through a close and ongoing collaboration with the University of Genoa.
Luca Santambrogio, Frigomar export manager, says: “We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Fountaine-Pajot shipyard for recognising Frigomar’s commitment and for giving us the opportunity to work with them. We are committed to continue to offer excellent services and to continue to improve in the future.”
