Gori Propeller names new distributor for Italy
Gori Propeller has appointed Amare srl (SpecialRig) as its exclusive distributor for Italy, effective immediately.
Danish firm Gori Propeller produces folding and custom-made propellers designed to provide low resistance and effective manoeuvrability. The range includes two-, three- and four-bladed options that cater to leisure, commercial, and racing yacht users.
In 2025, the company will introduce a hybrid folding propeller capable of switching between sailing performance and regeneration modes.
“We are sad to say goodbye to our long-standing Italian distributor Guido Sodano from Sodana SAS who retired at the end of 2024, we wish him all the best,” says Lars Østergaard, senior vice president sales for Gori Propeller. “Gori has a good presence in Italy thanks to Sodana, and I look forward to this chapter with Amare srl (SpecialRig). They know the brand and the group as they also represent Moonlight Hatches and Portlights, which is part of the BSI Marine Equipment Group like Gori. We know our customer will be in safe hands.”
SpecialRig operates from its headquarters in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UD) and has a branch in Lavagna (GE). The company represents brands such as Moonlight, Lopolight, Ronstan, Andersen, Karver and Clamcleat.
