Marine-grade stainless steel boat trailer launched by Extreme Trailers
Extreme Trailers has launched a marine-grade stainless steel boat trailer, marking the first of its kind in Europe. Today’s unveiling at SIBS (13 September 2024) is said to be a significant milestone for the trailer manufacturer.
The range is being built using 316 marine-grade stainless steel, known for its superior corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. This advancement marks a groundbreaking leap for the marine industry, as boat owners and transporters now have access to a trailer designed to last longer, perform better and reduce environmental impact.
Extreme Trailers’ in-house production process uses CNC laser cutting machines in its 25,000 sq. ft Southampton factory. Believed to be the only trailer manufacturer in Europe with in-house CNC laser and injection moulding capabilities, Extreme Trailers has grasped its unique position of being able to innovate faster and manufacture its products sustainably.
“We’ve always strived to innovate and deliver products that truly meet the needs of the marine community,” says Ross Knight, the company’s sales director.
“Our new stainless steel trailer range is stronger, more durable and more sustainable than anything currently on the market. We’re incredibly proud to be the first in Europe to bring this marine-grade technology to boat owners and transporters. This is the future of boat trailers, and we’re thrilled to have unveiled it here at SIBS.”
The company’s backing its new trailers with a 10-year limited warranty. This industry-leading offer reflects its confidence in the longevity and performance of its products.
