Marine specialist recruitment agency Marine Resources is partnering with METSTRADE for the second consecutive year, to present the METSTRADE Career Zone within the show’s Young Professionals Club.

METSTRADE, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show for leisure marine professionals, will take place from 19-21 November 2024 in Amsterdam. The Young Professionals Club, aimed at attendees under 35 years of age, offers networking opportunities and daily sessions featuring insights on career advancement and business mentorship from industry leaders. The Marine Resources team also provides guided tours during METSTRADE with personal introductions to key marine businesses. 

During 2023, the career zone attracted over 400 young professionals to the club over three days.

In the months ahead, Marine Resources says it will engage with this group of professionals under 35 through a dedicated LinkedIn group.

“Investing in the career trajectory of this demographic is close to my heart,” says James Ward, managing director at Marine Resources. “The insights from our 2022 salary survey highlight the significance of retaining talent within the 25 to 35 age bracket. We must provide the necessary motivation and recognition to keep them engaged and retained in our industry.”
