METSTRADE: Registration open for Women in Marine event
The 2024 Women in the Marine Industry International event will return to METSTRADE this November.
Hosted by British Marine, METSTRADE, Marine Industry News and Soundings Trade Only, the event will take place on Wednesday 20 November 2024, from 8.30-10.30am in the METSTRADE Theatre, RAI Amsterdam, in the Netherlands.
First launched in 2022, the Women in the Marine Industry International event provides a platform for industry professionals of all genders to connect, network, and gain valuable insights from leading female voices in the marine industry.
Marine Industry News is a staunch supporter of events like these as they offer lively discussion, knowledge sharing and the chance to network in a thriving community. And MIN believes, like Women in Boatbuilding’s Belinda Joslin, that equality is not a yearly insta post.
METSTRADE visitors and exhibitors are invited to join for a panel discussion and the opportunity to network with peers over a light breakfast.
The panel will share their knowledge, experiences and journeys. This year’s discussion will focus on ‘Visions of the Future: the impact of technology, AI and people on the future of work’. Full details of the 2024 panel will be announced soon.

“I look forward to moderating this year’s panel of dynamic female leaders from across the industry and around the world,” says Michele Goldsmith, vice president of the Soundings Trade Only Group.
“This annual event provides an invaluable space to gather, learn, network, share, connect, and get inspired. It celebrates the contributions of women in our industry and fosters meaningful discussions. As the marine business continues to evolve, this year’s focus will be on the future of work, driven by technology, AI, and investments in people.”
