German boatbuilder MS Marine, which specialises in inflatable boats and aluminium RIBs, has added two new versions of the new Sterk 31 sports cruiser to its range in response to filling order books.

‘Since its market introduction earlier this year, the Sterk 31 motorboat has quickly gained momentum and proven to be a true hot seller,’ says the yard in a statement.

The initial model, Sterk 31 RC (Rear Cabin), was launched at boot Düsseldorf in November 2022. It has since been nominated in two categories at prestigious industry awards: the Best of Boats International Award in the best for performance category, and the European Powerboat of the Year Award 2024.

‘We anticipate that the introduction of new versions of the Sterk 31 motorboat, including the announced wetbar and full-cabin versions, will lead to further increases,’ the yard states. ‘These new versions provide a broader selection and cater to the diverse demands of our discerning customers.’

While MS Marine’s inflatable boat business saw a slight decline this year, the yard says its outlook for 2024 is ‘more than promising.’

The boatbuilder adds that it is looking to expand its dealer network to cope with increasing demand for the Sterk 31.
