Nixon Marine Global acquires Spiroll Chafe Guards
Nixon Marine Global, based in Windham, Maine, has acquired the Spiroll range of Chafe and Rope protectors from Trach Mate of Andover, Massachusetts.
Nixon Marine Global will continue manufacturing Spiroll products at its Windham facility, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
This acquisition marks a new chapter for the widely recognised Spiroll brand, which serves maritime, climbing, and work-at-height markets across the USA, Europe, and Australasia.
Spiroll Chafe Guards are well known across USA, Europe and Australasia, for providing quick and simple protection for most surfaces from rubbing lines. The Rope Protector range has also served the rescue and climbing markets in similar regions.
Mark O’Donnell, owner of Trach Mate, says: “I couldn’t be more pleased that the Spiroll legacy will continue for the maritime, climbing, and work-at-height marketplaces under the management of Nixon Marine Global. What started as a term paper for school 23 years ago has turned into a multinational product line with results that exceeded my wildest expectations. I look forward to seeing where Nixon Marine Global will bring the brand next.”
Keith Nixon, president of Nixon Marine Global, says: “We are delighted to be taking on the Spiroll brand and product range. Our in-house manufacturing is well aligned with the needs for Spiroll production. We will continue to supply this quality product and aim to provide further growth to this already strong brand”
Nixon Marine Global is a US and UK-based importer and distributor of Boat Accessories for both aftermarket and OEM markets.
