Steve Power, the beloved South Coast radio personality, is set to make a splash at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show as he brings his signature style and musical flair to the Shipyard stage at 12:45pm on Friday 13 September for his first ever live boat show performance.

A prominent voice on Nation Radio, Power is known for his engaging personality and magnetic presence both on-air and off. With a dedicated following and fan pages across social media, Power’s move to Nation Radio has only cemented his status as a beloved icon on the South Coast. His appearance at the Boat Show promises to be one of the many highlights of the event.

Sharing his excitement for his upcoming appearance, which will feature some of his favourite tracks, Steve commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of the Southampton International Boat Show this year. It’s not just about broadcasting live; it’s about diving into the incredible atmosphere, meeting amazing people, and experiencing everything this fantastic event has to offer. I can’t wait to get out on the water and bring all the excitement directly to our listeners.”

In addition to his live stage set, Power will be actively involved in various exciting activities throughout the show. He will conduct exclusive live link interviews with notable figures including Captain Glenn, from the popular TV show, ‘Below Deck Sailing’, the dynamic On the Water stage performers, and the adventurous Chay Blythe, who was the first person to sail single-handed non-stop westwards around the world.

Visitors and Nation Radio listeners can also look forward to his enthusiastic coverage of the mast climb experience, being undertaken by one lucky radio competition winner and get sneak peek inside some of the most luxurious boats at the show.

To cap off the day’s festivities, Steve will experience the thrill of the open water firsthand as he takes the helm of a powerboat, for an exhilarating ride across the Solent.

“Steve Power is a true icon and his presence at the Boat Show will undoubtedly add a unique and exciting dimension to the event,” said Mark Ring, Head of Events at British Marine, organisers of the Southampton International Boat Show. “We are thrilled to have him join us and look forward to a dynamic and engaging performance that will thrill fans and attendees alike.”
