Raymarine signs supply contract with Hanse
Marine electronics company Raymarine has signed a supply contract with Hanse, the world’s second-largest builder of sailing yachts.
HanseYacht brands Sealine and Moody Yachts already use Raymarine for their navigation solutions, and this partnership has now been strengthened by the addition of the Hanse sailing brands.
“We are pleased about the expansion of the long-standing cooperation between HanseYachts and Raymarine, as their sophisticated instruments are a perfect fit for our Hanse brand as well,” says Hanjo Runde, CEO of HanseYachts. “Our customers will be able to see this for themselves at the world premiere of our groundbreaking Hanse 410 in Cannes.”
At the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 (12-17 September 2023), Hanse is launching its 410 model, the latest addition to the Berret-Racoupeau-designed series of fast cruisers. Raymarine is presenting a new series of products developed for the sailing market and the firm says the Hanse 410 offers the perfect platform to present this to the marine industry for the very first time.
“For a marine electronics manufacturer to routinely agree partnerships with large yacht manufacturers, as Raymarine has been doing so strongly over the last 12 months takes more than having the best products on the market,” says Gregoire Outters, Raymarine vice-president and general manager. “Of equal importance to boatbuilders and their customers is that products offer easy installation and are supported globally with a reputation for excellent after-sales support. These are all areas where Raymarine has led for many decades.
“I’d like to thank HanseYachts along for recognising these strengths and look forward to many years of successful collaboration.”
