Rooster releases bag range made from upcycled sails
Technical clothing watersports brand Rooster has launched a new bag range in collaboration with Sandy Point Watersports, a chandlery and watersports centre on Hayling Island, on the UK south coast.
The new limited-edition range, released in time for Christmas, is crafted from upcycled sails and Rooster rope offcuts. The collection spans a washbag, a large shoulder bag, and a small handy bag.
Rooster says that each bag in this collection is unique, due to the use of repurposed sails. A special label inside each bag allows customers to discover the story behind the sail used in their bag. The bags also boast a durable, water-resistant base, making them ideal for seaside adventures or everyday use.
Versatile carry straps/handles offer flexibility for carrying and hanging, and robust zipper closures are used throughout to ensure belongings stay safe and secure. A convenient envelope pocket on the inside provides space for small essentials like keys, earphones, or a mobile phone.
In a statement, Rooster says it ‘is excited to partner with Sandy Point Watersports and support a local business based on Hayling Island on the south coast of England.’
It adds: ‘Both brands share a passion for the sea and finding innovative ways to reduce waste, making this collaboration a perfect blend.’
