RS Sailing announces flagship US regatta
RS Sailing has revealed details of RS Fest Miami, the first major multi-class RS Sailing event in North America.
The three-day RS Fest Miami regatta takes place from 30 March to 1 April 2024 at Coconut Grove Sailing Club (CGSC) in Miami, Florida, with more potential activities in the days leading up to the event and social events off the water.
International sailors in the RS Aero, RS Tera, RS Feva, RS Venture and RS21 classes are invited to join the flagship event for a long weekend of racing. There will also be an Open RS Class.
In the RS Aero Fleet, rig sizes 5, 6 ,7 and 9 will be racing. RS Teras will feature the Sport and Pro classes. The RS Feva class is open to all age groups as is the RS Venture. There will also be one design racing in RS’ latest keelboat – the RS21.
“RS Sailing was built on bringing people together to have fun sailing – we’ve been striving to have an event like this in the US,” says Todd Riccardi from RS Sailing North America. “We are incredibly excited that CGSC is able to host what is going to be an celebration of sailing with all the elements of fun on and off the water.”
Registration for the event is now live. The deadline for entry and payment is 15 March, 2024.
