Scanstrut starts shipping ATMOS built-in air station
UK equipment manufacturer Scanstrut has started shipping its DAME-award-winning air station for inflating paddleboards, towables and more while on the water.
ATMOS is a waterproof, built-in air station that brings convenience, efficiency, and reliability to inflating and deflating a variety of toys and watercraft.
“ATMOS elegantly addresses a customer pain point and makes the boating experience more pleasant,” says Wally Ross, director of product and marketing at Godfrey Marine.
ATMOS’s success follows closely on the heels of recent accolades, including winning the prestigious DAME Award for Comfort & Entertainment Afloat and an IBEX Innovation Award in the Mechanical Systems Category.
“ATMOS is the definition of big punch in a small package,” says Clint Howell, senior engineer at Tige Ski Boats.
“At Scanstrut, we believe in creating products that truly enhance the boating experience. ATMOS is a testament to that belief, and we’re thrilled to see the incredible response it’s received from our customers,” says Tom Reed, CEO of Scanstrut.
“The pre-orders and feedback from OEMs, distributors, and dealers have been incredible, highlighting just how important this product is for Scanstrut and the boating community as a whole.”
The ATMOS built-in air station operates on 12V and is equipped with a marine-grade two-stage pump. It has an IPX6 waterproof design for both front and back, ensuring durability and longevity in marine environments. It offers a maximum pressure of 20 PSI or 1.37 Bar, suitable for a wide range of inflatables.
Scanstrut says, with ATMOS, boaters can say goodbye to manual pumps and low-quality plug-ins, saving time and energy while getting out on the water faster. The innovative two-stage pump system ensures efficient and reliable inflation, while the LCD display and soft-touch buttons make operation intuitive and straightforward.
ATMOS is designed with user safety and convenience in mind, featuring a range of safety features such as auto cut-off, auto standby mode, and thermal cut-off. It is backed by Scanstrut’s two-year product warranty.
