Sea & Symphony and Artsys’ partnership reaps rewards
Sea & Symphony, an Italian company specialising in lifts and custom moving solutions, has strengthened its presence in Turkey’s growing market through a partnership with Artsys Electronics.
Artsys, a provider of marine entertainment and comfort automation systems, has been appointed as Sea & Symphony’s official distributor. Together, they have completed 87 yacht projects, with an additional 24 projects scheduled for completion by early next year. Their portfolio spans vessels ranging from 20 to 80 metres.
“We are excited about this partnership,” says Eugenio Troglia, export manager at Sea & Symphony. “The team at Artsys possesses a high level of expertise and provides exceptional after-sales support – two crucial elements for fostering strong relationships with shipyards.”
According to Sea & Symphony, Turkey has emerged as the second-largest superyacht builder in terms of the 2024 global order book, surpassing the Netherlands for the first time. With 132 superyachts currently under construction, Turkey’s new build total gross tonnage will exceed 73,000 GT. The order book has grown by 40 per cent in just one year.
The marine sector’s significant growth has been fuelled by the creation of free zones, tax breaks and other incentives.
“Marine projects present greater challenges than residential ones due to their operation in constantly moving environments,” says Baris Konyali, manager at Artsys. “As a result, the equipment must be constructed from high-quality, durable materials. We have confidence in the durability of Sea & Symphony’s products, having received no negative feedback from yacht owners and encountered no failures over the past three years.
“To address space limitations onboard, custom solutions are often required, and Sea & Symphony is ready to support us in delivering tailored designs. By listening to the requirements of shipyards and designers and collaborating closely with Sea & Symphony, we can create solutions that incorporate large TVs and TV lifts, perfectly fitting into small, confined spaces.”
In recent years, Sea & Symphony says its role in Turkey has evolved from an occasional supplier for some shipyards to a consistent partner across both boutique and serial production yards.
Both companies will be participating in the Superyacht Summit Turkey.
