Sialia Yachts, a leading player in the eco-luxury yachting sector, and its parent company, Silent Straits, has announced the appointment of Milvio Ricci as its new chief commercial officer. This move is part of the company’s strategic growth plan.

In his new role, Ricci will be responsible for driving Sialia Yachts’ commercial strategy, managing its brand portfolio, and overseeing sales and organisational processes.

Ricci brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a strong academic foundation in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from the University of Birmingham and SDA Bocconi. He entered the yachting industry through leadership roles, including as business development manager at one of the world’s largest yachting groups. in these sectors. While in this role, Ricci oversaw market expansion and led key acquisitions, including that of the American dealer Allied Marine Group.

Ricci says: “I am very pleased to join such an innovative shipyard. Our goal is to redefine the world of emission-free yachting, as we have already demonstrated with the Sialia 57 Deep Silence, which recently achieved great success at its American debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Established in 2017, Sialia Yachts, owned by Silent Straits, is a focused on sustainability and ocean-friendly innovation. The company is based in Warsaw, Poland, and has a range of electric boats, including weekenders, cruisers and day boats. In 2022, Sialia Yachts introduced its first yacht, the Sialia 57 Deep Silence. The company also offers 45ft, 59ft, and 80ft models. The Sialia 45 Sport is under construction and is expected to launch in 2025.
