Speed@Seawork 2024, the sector-specific feature of the Seawork commercial marine exhibition, will be hosted by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) in Cowes, UK, on Monday 10 June 2024.

Offering knowledge sharing, networking, exhibiting, sponsorship and demonstration opportunities, Speed@Seawork focuses on the vessels, and associated equipment, that operate at high speed in the field of security intervention and search and rescue.

Held in partnership with SMI (Society of Marine Industries), the upcoming fifth edition of Speed@Seawork will host an international field of delegates from the defence and specialist sectors, offering opportunities to participate in sea trials, enjoy fast manoeuvres, equipment demonstrations and keynote presentations from procurement and MOD personnel.

Delegates attending include international defence attachés. The 2023 edition saw Bahrain; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Jordan; Kosovo; Maldives; New Zealand; Montenegro; South Africa; Ukraine, and United States represented.

“The Royal Ocean Racing Club is well versed in the importance of design, speed and performance; being at the forefront of international offshore racing,” says Joe Hall, head of operations at RORC. “We are therefore delighted to host the 2024 Speed@Seawork’s event from our new clubhouse facilities on Castle Hill, Cowes.

“Just minutes away from the berthing at Trinity Landing and with views across the Solent, the clubhouse will provide the perfect base for this prestigious and important event.”

Seawork 2024 — the 25th anniversary edition of Seawork — takes place from 11-13 June 2024.
