Yacht Racing Forum sets sail for Amsterdam
Organisers of the Yacht Racing Forum, the annual conference dedicated to the sport of sailing, have announced the launch of its 14th edition in November 2024.
The Yacht Racing Forum is organised by MaxComm and takes place alongside METSTRADE Amsterdam from 20-22 November 2024. Organisers say the event will reassemble the sports’ key personalities from all over the world over three days of conferences, debates and business, with a diverse social calendar.
The Yacht Racing Form last took place in Malta in 2022, after two consecutive cancellations due to the pandemic. There was no Yacht Racing Forum in 2023. In September, it was confirmed the Yacht Racing Forum 2024, 2025 and 2026 will all take place in Amsterdam alongside the METSTRADE marine trade fair.
METSTRADE Amsterdam brings together some 20,000 participants each year and presents the products of some 1,500 exhibitors in its spacious showrooms.
“We are excited to bring the Yacht Racing Forum to Amsterdam, in collaboration with the METSTRADE fair,” says Bernard Schopfer, the event organiser. “By co-locating with the world’s biggest maritime trade show, we aim to create a synergistic platform for discussions on the future of yacht racing.
“This partnership will enhance participation and also significantly reduce the event’s carbon footprint. We eagerly await the diverse participation from around the world, promising an inspiring event for all.”
Early bird registration for the upcoming Yacht Racing Forum is available until 30 April 2024, offering a saving of €100.
