MarineMax appoints industry veteran to lead superyacht division marketing
MarineMax has announced the appointment of Patrick Coote as vice president for brand marketing for its superyacht division.
This comes after the recent launch of the MarineMax superyacht division, headed up by Daniel Ziriakus as group chief operating officer and executive vice president and Alessandra Nenci as group chief financial officer and executive vice president.
Coote brings over 25 years of experience in the superyacht sector to his new role. His career has spanned various aspects of the yachting industry, including publishing, boat show management, yacht design, sales, and finance. Coote has been instrumental in driving marketing initiatives for brands such as Northrop & Johnson, Fraser Yachts and the Azimut Benetti Group over the past two decades.
Coote says: “I am thrilled to embark on this exhilarating journey with MarineMax. Together, we will redefine the global superyacht brokerage landscape, introducing innovations and experiences that surpass industry standards.”
In his new position, Coote will oversee brand-specific marketing teams across Fraser Yachts, Northrop & Johnson, and Fairport Global. His primary focus will be ensuring continued growth while maintaining each brand’s independent market positioning.
“We warmly welcome Patrick to our team,” says Daniel Ziriakus, COO and EVP of the MarineMax Superyacht Division. “His profound industry knowledge and visionary marketing strategies will propel us to new heights on the world stage. Patrick’s dedication perfectly aligns with our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction, making him an ideal leader for our brand marketing operations.”
Beyond his professional achievements, Coote is known for his active involvement in the yachting community. He is a Yacht Club de Monaco member and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. His interests outside of work include polo, motorcycles, and travel.
