UK firm launches ‘Survivor Club’ to share life-saving stories
Ocean Signal, a UK-based manufacturer of satellite and terrestrial emergency beacons, is launching a ‘Survivor Club’ on its website.
This dedicated platform allows customers who have previously activated their Ocean Signal beacons to share their life-saving stories and connect with a community of fellow survivors.
The platform, designed to bring together individuals who have used Ocean Signal beacons in emergency situations, allows customers to share their experiences and first-hand insights into using the beacons. Ocean Signal says it hopes the platform will encourage others to take precautionary measures and be appropriately equipped for potential emergencies.
Ocean Signal is offering a replacement beacon to every customer whose story is approved and shared on the ‘Survivor Club’ platform.
‘At Ocean Signal, the team is committed to providing the most reliable safety and survival equipment for mariners, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts,’ the firm says in a statement. ‘The launch of the ‘Survivor Club’ underscores this commitment, highlighting the importance of its technology through inspiring stories of survival and resilience. It also fosters a supportive network for those who have faced extraordinary challenges, bringing the community together.’
